Fighting for One More Tomorrow

I didn’t plan to share this…
but maybe someone out there needs to hear it.

His tiny hand fits perfectly in mine.

He doesn’t understand the word “cancer.”
He just knows I’m Dad…
and that I’m supposed to be here. ❤️

A few days ago, everything changed.

A quiet room.
A doctor’s voice.

“Stage 4.”

Two words…
that don’t just land—
they echo through your entire life.

Suddenly, time feels different.
Fragile.
Uncertain.

But here’s the part they don’t say enough—

When someone looks at you
like you’re their whole world…

you don’t get to give up.

So now, every day has one purpose:

To fight.

Not just for me…
but for him.

For bedtime stories not yet told.
For the small hand that still reaches for mine in the dark.
For the belief in his eyes
that I can fix anything.

Some days are heavy.
Some nights feel endless.

But love…

Love is louder than fear.

So if you’re reading this—

Hold your loved ones a little tighter tonight.
Say the words you’ve been meaning to say.
Don’t wait.

Because time…
is never as guaranteed as we think.

And if you believe in kindness—

Leave a ❤️

To remind someone out there…

they’re not fighting alone.
