When rescuers first found him, his tiny body was covered in injuries. The area around his eyes was severely damaged, leaving both eyes permanently closed and stitched after emergency surgery.

Veterinarians later confirmed that the injuries were not caused by an accident.

They were caused by human cruelty.

No one knows exactly what this gentle cat endured before he was rescued. But the wounds on his face told a painful story — a story of suffering that no animal should ever experience.

For a long time, he must have been living in darkness, confused and terrified, trying to survive without being able to see.

Yet what touched rescuers the most was not just his injuries.
