Larry the Cat — the famous Chief Mouser of the UK Cabinet Office — has officially completed 15 years living at 10 Downing Street, the home of Britain’s prime minister. 🐾🇬🇧

Adopted from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home in 2011, Larry quickly became more than just a mouse catcher. Over the years, he has served under six British prime ministers, becoming one of the most recognizable animals in British politics.

Now about 19 years old, Larry continues to charm the public and the media with his calm presence outside the famous black door of No.10.

His long stay has made him one of the most consistent figures in British government, reminding people that sometimes the most reliable resident in politics… is a cat. 🐱✨
