At 19, Loren Schauers never imagined that a day at work would change his life forever.

In 2019, while operating a roadwork machine in Montana, it overturned, crushing him.
The injuries were so severe that doctors had to amputate his entire lower body to save his life.

What seemed like the end, became the beginning of a new story.

After weeks of surgeries and an impossible-looking recovery, Loren found a way forward.
By his side was Sabia, his girlfriend then and now his wife, who never left him. Loren once said to her, words that touched thousands:
“You are the reason I can live the life I have.”

Today, they share their story as a testament to love, strength, and resilience.
